What We're Looking For

A rising leader in product design to drive the design of key features and experiences across our product portfolio while leading and inspiring a team of talented product designers & researchers. We need someone who geeks out on clean and sustainable products, thrives in the early stages of company-building, and knows what it takes to build product design excellence for growth. You’ll be hands on, leading design projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create impactful and seamless user experiences. You will also guide the design team to deliver world-class user experiences while balancing user needs and business objectives. You’ll mentor junior designers and ensure that design quality and consistency are maintained across the product. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll manage multiple design projects across various product areas, help shape the design vision, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and executive teams.

In This Role, You Will:

• Design Strategy: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, and senior leadership to shape and implement design strategies that align with company goals, enhance the user experience and ensure that design plays a central role in product development and decision-making.
• Design Leadership: Own and lead design initiatives across major features or product areas, from concept to final execution.
• User-Centered Design: Advocate for the user by utilizing research, data, and user testing to inform design decisions and improve the overall product experience.
• Problem Solving: Tackle complex design problems and work with the team to find innovative, user-friendly solutions.
• Prototyping & Testing: Develop high-fidelity prototypes and conduct user testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
• Design Excellence: Ensure design consistency, quality, and innovation across the product portfolio by establishing and maintaining design systems, processes, and best practices.
• Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and rationale to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product designers, fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and growth.
• Hiring & Growth: Participate in recruiting efforts to grow the design team and contribute to building a strong design culture within the company.
